White Lodging opened the 136-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Fort Wayne Downtown last week. The hotel features two food-and-beverage concepts: Burger Bar and the open-air bar Conner’s Rooftop. The hotel is located immediately adjacent to Parkview Field and the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Amenities include a rooftop fitness center and a 47-person meeting space.

Earlier last week, the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Franklin opened. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a 536-square-foot meeting space. Nearby points of interest include Franklin College, Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, the Johnson County National Guard and historic Artcraft Theatre. Franklin Hotel Associates, which includes Jart Properties, owns the hotel and General Hotels Corportation manages it.

The 94-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis South/Greenwood opened two weeks ago.
