Two Fairfield by Marriott hotels and one Tru by Hilton have opened in Texas during the past few weeks. The three new hotels represent an additional 259 guestrooms in the state.

Just a few weeks after adding two Texas hotels to its management portfolio, Hotel Equities opened the 89-room Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Houston Brookhollow. The hotel features a full-service lobby bar, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 1,355 square feet of meeting space. Less than 35 miles away, the 80-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston NASA/Webster (Texas) also opened recently. The hotel is situated 10 minutes from NASA’s Johnson Space Center and roughly half an hour outside of downtown Houston. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 550 square feet of meeting space. SRI Hospitality & Resorts owns the hotel and BH Hospitality Management operates it.

The 90-room Tru by Hilton Longview opened two weeks ago in eastern Texas. The hotel is located near several local attractions, including LeTourneau University, Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center and Lear Sports Complex. It features a 24/7 market and a fitness center. Eklavya owns the hotel and Lodgic Hospitality manages it.
