So far in June, the midscale Tru by Hilton brand has opened locations in Hershey, Pa.; El Paso, Texas; Oklahoma City; and Idaho Falls, Idaho. All four hotels include a pool, a fitness room and a business center.
In Pennsylvania, Springwood Hospitality owns and manages the new 112-room Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue. It is located within 2 miles of Hersheypark, The Hershey Company, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, the Giant Center and Hershey Towne Square.
Earlier this month, the 90-room Tru by Hilton El Paso Northeast opened near the University of Texas at El Paso. Tru El Paso NE owns it and Kana Hotel Group manages it.
The 86-room Tru by Hilton Oklahoma City NW Expressway and the 92-room Tru by Hilton Idaho Falls both opened at the beginning of the month. Champion Hotels owns and manages the Oklahoma City Tru. B&T Idaho Hotels IV owns the Idaho Falls hotel and B&T Hospitality Management manages it.
