Atlanta gets new dual-brand Marriott development

Noble Investment Group and Marriott International opened the dual-brand AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown and Moxy Atlanta Midtown in the city's business and arts district.

With a combined 288 rooms and suites, this is the first combination of the AC Hotels by Marriott and Moxy Hotels brands under one roof. These new additions mark the first Moxy Hotel in Georgia and the third AC Hotel in Atlanta (Noble’s second after the AC Hotel Atlanta Buckhead at Phipps Plaza).

Developed on an entire city block, the hotels are blocks from Georgia Tech University. The hotel has a pedestrian connector called the Arts Walk, a ground-level path that will connect 13th and 14th Sts. while displaying installations from local artists. The Arts Walk will eventually span from 10th St. to the Woodruff Arts Center.

Facing 14th St., the European-inspired AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown has 133 rooms. Facing 13th St., the Moxy Atlanta Midtown Hotel has 155 rooms and communal areas with industrial features.

Above both hotels is the High Note, a rooftop space with a pool, cabanas and a bar, meeting space, health and fitness facilities and an outdoor entertaining area with firepits.

McKibbon Hospitality is the operator for both hotels.
