In Western Australia, Perth's hotel scene keeps getting better. SilverNeedle Group, in partnership with local company Australian Development Capital, is set to open the $35 million Sage Hotel West Perth next month—the third Sage-branded property in the country, following properties in Adelaide and Wollongong.
ADC’s first hotel investment will have 101 rooms, and is expected to be "environmentally sustainable." SilverNeedle Group managing director Cameron Stewart said Sage would be its strongest growth brand in the upscale hotel segment.
Beyond this property, Perth is also set to get a new DoubleTree by Hilton and Crown Towers in December. The Westin Hotel on Hay Street, Perth and DoubleTree by Hilton in Fremantle will open in 2017.
