Cobblestone Hotels opened three hotels last month in Julesburg, Colo.; Boise City, Okla.; and Rhinelander, Wis.
Most recently, a crowd gathered in the lobby of the Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Julesburg to celebrate the official grand opening. Rhonda Graham, director of the Community Economic Development of Sedgewick County, voiced her appreciation for the support from Cobblestone Hotels and county and town officials, as well as the William Stretesky Foundation and the investment group Julesburg Colorado Hotel.
“This is just going to be the first step in a fantastic boost to our economy,” she said in a statement.
Jeremy Griesbach, president of development for Cobblestone Hotels, took a moment to thank the community of Julesburg for its partnership and expressed gratitude for the part that this hotel plays in the expansion of the Cobblestone brand. “As our brand has evolved, we are building into some bigger communities .... but small-town America is our bread and butter. And to get out here and see a community like Julesburg and be part of the growth and history of the city makes us very excited.”
Meanwhile, a ribbon cutting took place in Boise City as well. In attendance were representatives from Cobblestone Hotels, the Cimarron County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Boise City, members of the investment group BCOK Lodging, and representatives from First Farm Bank.
Amy Crawford shared a few words on behalf of the Cimarron County Chamber of Commerce and its hopes for the role the Cobblestone Inn & Suites will play in the development of the city. “The addition of the Cobblestone hotel brings more than just comfortable lodging, it brings opportunity,” said Crawford, in a statement. ”It’s a sign of growth, and a welcoming hand to travelers, and an investment in Cimarron County’s future.”
Cobblestone Inn & Suites hotels include amenities, such as high-speed internet access, a complimentary hot breakfast each morning, and 24-hour Seattle’s Best Coffee service for all guests to enjoy. The hotels also features on-site services such as a fitness center, an elevator, and a business center. The on-site meeting room is available to rent for both guests and members of the community, and the Cobblestone Marketplace is open 24/7 to travelers in need of snacks, drinks, and travel essentials. Each guestroom is tailored to meet the needs of the modern traveler, with in-room amenities such as flat-screen TVs, microwaves, mini-refrigerators, in-room coffee brewers, luxury linens, and bathroom essentials.
