The 95-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Longmont, Colo., is slated to open April 3, 2018.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder Longmont will operate as a Marriott franchise that Starwood Capital Group will own and Texas’ Aimbridge Hospitality will manage. The new property is near downtown Denver, the University of Colorado, the Butterfly Pavilion, Water World, Boondocks Food & Fun and Rocky Mountain National Park.
The upcoming Fairfield hotel will join Marriott International's 19 additional hotels operating under this brand across the state. It will also join Marriott's portfolio of 110 hotels currently operating in Colorado under the AC Hotels, Gaylord Hotels, Moxy Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, Autograph Collection, JW Marriott, Renaissance Hotels, TownePlace Suites, Courtyard, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Residence Inn, Marriott Vacation Club and SpringHill Suites brands along with Fairfield Inn & Suites. In Longmont, Marriott also has the Courtyard Boulder Longmont, the Residence Inn Boulder Longmont and the SpringHill Suites Boulder Longmont in its inventory.
Marriott’s Starwood Hotels subsidiary has another 27 hotels in Colorado under its Aloft, Element, Four Points by Sheraton, Le Méridien, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, St. Regis, Tribute Portfolio and Westin brands. These operate in Aspen, Denver, Avon, Basalt, Broomfield, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Lakewood, Lone Tree, Snowmass Village, Steamboat Springs, Superior, Telluride and Westminster.
This latest Marriott opening will follow the openings of three additional Fairfield Inn & Suites in Kansas, California and Georgia. The 82-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Woodstock opened in Georgia on March 5, 2018, under a franchise agreement with Renaissance Hospitality Management, which owns and manages the property. The 108-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Ontario Rancho Cucamonga in California opened a day later through a franchise agreement with Woodbridge Hospitality, which owns the hotel. Meanwhile, Premier Management of Cerritos, Calif., manages the new hotel. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Liberal opened in Kansas on March 21, 2018. The hotel operates as a Marriott franchise while Texas-based InVision Hotel Group owns and manages the property.
Marriott recently announced a new Fairfield Inn & Suites coming to Atlanta as a dual-branded hotel with TownePlace Suites. Arriba Capital secured a $40.7-million construction loan to develop the 194-room hotel, which will be in the midtown Atlanta area.
