Cuningham Group designs first Hyatt-branded hotel in Pasadena

Hyatt Place Pasadena, the first Hyatt-branded hotel in the city, has opened near Old Town Pasadena. The hotel is led by Ensemble Real Estate Solutions & Investments, and operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts. The Cuningham Group oversaw the architecture and interior design.

Hyatt Place Pasadena is an upscale property with views of the San Gabriel mountains and cityscape, Pasadena's downtown and the Old Town shopping district. Pasadena is home to the Rose Bowl Stadium and Tournament of Roses, as well as the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories, California Institute of Technology, Parsons Corporation, Kaiser Permanente and East West Bank.

The property has 189 guestrooms with separate spaces to sleep and work, as well as a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. All rooms have free Wi-Fi connectivity.

For dining, the property has the Gallery Kitchen, and the Coffee to Cocktails Bar.

For events, the property has over 3,000 square feet of flexible space.

Meanwhile, a 24-hour gym has cardio equipment with LCD touchscreens and free ear buds.
