Debora Aguiar designs new Hyde Resort & Residences in Florida

Hyde Resort & Residences has opened in Hollywood, Florida, with design by Brazilian architect Debora Aguiar. Chesapeake Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company, is managing the property.

The 43-story glass-clad building is right next to the Atlantic Ocean. Its 363 suites with one to three bedrooms that include kitchens, Wi-Fi connectivity and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to wrap-around terraces. The suites all incorporate organic materials, natural wood and stone, and atmospheric lighting. 

The hotel has two infinity-edge ocean view pools, sundeck and private cabanas; fitness center overlooking the Atlantic Ocean; spa with steam and sauna rooms; and dedicated yoga and Pilates studio.

The property also has a permanent curated art collection installed throughout the public areas.
