DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort has officially opened its doors, marking the brand’s second hotel in Thailand after DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.

The hotel offers 290 rooms, each with a private balcony or terrace area, meetings and event space, three swimming pools and a 24/7 fitness center. Several food and beverage options include an all-day dining restaurant The Port; breakfast venue The Shore; cocktail and coffee bars the Lobby Bar and Blah Blah Bar; and three swim-up pool bars.

“Thailand is enjoying healthy year-[over]-year tourism growth and we're seeing key resort locations receiving increasing interest from both business and leisure travelers. We are delighted to be expanding our presence in Phuket,” said Paul Hutton, VP/operations, Southeast Asia, Hilton.
