Dusit expands dusitD2 brand in Thailand

Asian hospitality group Dusit International added a new resort to its dusitD2 portfolio with the dusitD2 Phuket Resort opening in Thailand.

Located only one block from the island’s popular Patong Beach and within walking distance from the Jungceylon shopping and leisure complex, the new dusitD2 Phuket Resort aims to become a destination in its own right, offering 390 guestrooms and suites. The property also has multiple lifestyle and entertainment outlets, including a Hard Rock Café.

The hotel is currently scheduled for an April 2014 rebranding date.
