Eastern Europe's first Radisson Collection hotel opening October 2018

Radisson Hotel Group and Silkroad Hospitality Group have signed an agreement to open the first Radisson Collection hotel in Eastern Europe and Russia.

The Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection hotel is slated to open in October 2018 in the wine region of Kakheti, Georgia. The new hotel, which will have 141 guestrooms and suites, shares the site with the Tsinandali Estate’s own vineyards.

The new Radisson Collection Hotel will be near the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, a 44-acre park and the Tsinandali Palace Museum of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. “The Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection hotel is welcome addition to our expanding portfolio in Georgia; offering its guests a unique authentic experience and our owners the opportunity to develop an individualized property that benefits from a glocal network,” said Elie Younes, EVP & CDO of Radisson Hotel Group, in a statement.

This recent signing will follow the rebranding of Rome's Palazzo Montemartini as a Radisson Collection hotel, effective in June 2018. The hotel near the Servian Wall, which is owned by Ragosta Hotels Collection, has 82 guestrooms and suites.

These new additions will join Radisson Collection's portfolio of three hotels across Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark, Edinburgh, Scotland and Stockholm, Sweden. The next hotels set to begin operating as Radisson Collection properties are the Radisson Collection San Marco Venice, Italy, the Radisson Collection Ukraina Moscow, Russia, the Radisson Collection Warsaw, Poland, the May Fair London, United Kingdom, A Radisson Collection Hotel and the Old Mill Belgrade, Serbia, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

The brand’s global pipeline includes the Radisson Collection Ikoyi Lagos, Nigeria, the Radisson Collection Agra, India and the Emerald Grand & Spa Lagos, Nigeria, A Radisson Collection Hotel.
