Embassy Suites opens its first Wisconsin hotel

Embassy Suites Brookfield Wis.

The former Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Brookfield, Wis., completed a recent conversion to the Embassy Suites brand.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield is the first Embassy Suites hotel in Wisconsin. The property has 203 suites and over 6,000 square feet of meeting space. The conversion also added two new meeting rooms to the property's existing footprint.

The hotel has a five-story atrium; a signature restaurant; an indoor pool; whirlpool and sauna; a 24-hour fitness center; and a 24-hour convenience store.

The openings consist of a dual-branded property in San Jose, Calif.; a Hyatt Place in Vacaville, Calif.; and a Residence Inn by Marriott outside Seattle.

The hotel, located in Lille near the Belgium border, is the latest for the 11-year-old brand.

The Kimpton Roatán will open on the West Bay Beach of Honduras' Roatán Island in early-2021.
