Fairfield Inn & Suites prepares to open in Gaylord, Mich.

The 83-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Gaylord, Mich., is scheduled to open Friday, May 26, 2017. Located at 826 Carpenter Street, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Gaylord will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by TC Triumph and managed by North Mich Hospitality Management of Traverse City, Mich.

Located 2 miles from Gaylord Regional Airport and five minutes from downtown Gaylord, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Gaylord offers guests access to Mackinac Island, Otsego Lake, Elk Park and Alpine Village.

The hotel's lobby area includes a natural color palette of greens, blues and oranges. The lobby also provides a living area with a stone hearth, organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair and local features unique to the area, as well as a 24/7 Corner Market.

The breakfast area’s farm table provides a central gathering place where guests can watch television, socialize or work. In the morning, guests will have access to a complimentary hot breakfast, choosing from oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles and other items such as fruit, yogurt and whole grain cereals and breads.

The property's guestrooms include a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and electrical outlets where guests need them. The hotel also provides Fairfield Inn’s newest Guest Enhancement Television, which allows guests to stream movies, music and shows using apps like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube.
