Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place officially opens

McKibbon Hospitality officially opened the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place. The hotel is located on Piedmont Road in the Buckhead Place development of Atlanta, and consists of 186 guestrooms, a selection of suites, meeting space, retail space, a pool and fitness center and a collection of local artwork.

The hotel was developed by McKibbon Hospitality—which has offices in Gainesville, Ga., and Tampa, Fla.—and Atlanta-based Coro Realty Advisors.

“The Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place is an important addition to the growing Buckhead area,” Randy Hassen, president of hotel management for McKibbon Hospitality, said in a statement. “We are excited to deliver a new option for visitors and pleased to offer a number of great amenities through this property, including some with local influences.”

The Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place includes a collection of artwork by notable local artists. This includes original pieces by Tommy Moss, an original sculpture by Sadie Young, work by architectural firm Cooper Carry and prints by Steve Pinley, who has previously commissioned work for the White House.

Additional amenities include daily free hot breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi and business center access and laundry room access. All rooms are fresh and modern spaces equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, 42-inch HDTV, coffeemaker and a work desk with an ergonomic chair. Suites offer more space, a wet bar and sofa bed, and are great for family stays.

The property is McKibbon Hospitality’s fourth Atlanta hotel in addition to the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Downtown, Home2 Suites Atlanta Downtown and the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Duluth/Johns Creek. In total, McKibbon Hospitality’s portfolio consists of nearly 80 hotels across the country.
