Hilton, Marriott, Best Western open hotels in the West

Marriott International, Hilton and Best Western Hotels & Resorts have opened new properties in the western United States recently. Here are four of those new properties.

The 126-room Courtyard by Marriott Las Cruces opened in New Mexico. Total Management Systems, which developed the hotel with Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group, will manage the hotel. The property includes a restaurant, bar, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, 675 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour market and laundry facilities. It is located adjacent to the Las Cruces Convention Center, within walking distance of New Mexico State University and a short drive from historic Old Mesilla and Las Cruces International Airport.

The 92-room Tru by Hilton Grand Junction Downtown has begun welcoming guests. Sunshine Hospitality owns the property and Main Street Management operates it. The hotel includes a 2,880-square-foot lobby, a 24-hour market and a fitness center. Located in downtown Grand Junction, Colo., it is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars.

The recently renovated Best Western West Valley Inn has opened just outside of Salt Lake City. The West Valley City, Utah, hotel, owned by WVC Hospitality, features 58 guestrooms, a 24-hour fitness center and a sundries shop. It is a short drive from multiple ski resorts and, for guests looking to visit downtown Salt Lake City, 1 mile from a light rail station.

In Idaho, the 80-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Burley has opened. Owned by TR2 and developed by High Out Development, it features a fitness center and a heated indoor saline pool with a whirlpool. It is located 1 mile from the Cassia County Fair & Rodeo and within driving distance of Sawtooth National Forest and Shoshone Falls.
