Hotel Equities reopens Memphis Courtyard

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities recently celebrated the grand re-opening of the renovated 96-room Courtyard by Marriott Memphis East in Memphis, Tenn. The hotel recently completed a comprehensive renovation and a significant profit improvement plan. 

"Memphis is an exciting city for Hotel Equities' expansion and we have seen very strong increases across the board upon the completion of the renovation," said Joe Reardon, VP of marketing and business development for HE. "We are excited to provide the owner with such great results and will continue to optimize opportunities and add value to this well-positioned, newly-renovated hotel. The hotel upgraded to Marriott's latest Courtyard Generation 4 room package that boasts 42-inch televisions, working desk units for the business traveler and the Bistro concept in the lobby. The pool area offers a socially-induced array of new amenities including a fire pit where guests can relax, unwind and order dinner and drinks.

The hotel is located in downtown West Palm Beach, two blocks from the Intracoastal Waterway to the east and the Palm Beach County Convention Center to the west.

The 303-room hotel will include a 27,500-square-foot conference center, a large lobby bar, two restaurants and a satellite Frisco Public Library.

The company has taken “substantial steps” to preserve liquidity and mitigate the impact of the current extremely low levels of demand.
