Atlanta-based Hotel Equities recently celebrated the grand re-opening of the renovated 96-room Courtyard by Marriott Memphis East in Memphis, Tenn. The hotel recently completed a comprehensive renovation and a significant profit improvement plan.

"Memphis is an exciting city for Hotel Equities' expansion and we have seen very strong increases across the board upon the completion of the renovation," said Joe Reardon, VP of marketing and business development for HE. "We are excited to provide the owner with such great results and will continue to optimize opportunities and add value to this well-positioned, newly-renovated hotel. We are delighted to work with an owner who has such an entrepreneurial vision and commitment to a great hotel."

The hotel upgraded to Marriott's latest Courtyard Generation 4 room package that boasts 42-inch televisions, working desk units for the business traveler and the Bistro concept in the lobby. The pool area offers a socially-induced array of new amenities including a fire pit where guests can relax, unwind and order dinner and drinks.

"Hotel Equities has proven that they are the market leaders when it comes to third party hospitality management," said Jay Batra, owner of the Courtyard by Marriott Memphis East. "For me, it's a slam dunk partnership because I can see the effort and strategic planning from a team whose members are even more engaged and anxious than I am to make this project successful. Without a doubt, Hotel Equities will be my partner in my future ventures."
