Hotel Simone opens in Georgia

Hospitality management company Charlestowne Hotels opened Hotel Simone, the first independent property to be built from the ground up in more than 10 years on Georgia's St. Simons Island. The adults-only property is the company’s third hotel in Georgia.

The hotel partnered with St. Simons’ own interiors showroom, Dutchman’s Designs, to curate custom designs and furnishings for its 24 coastal-inspired suites.

According to Stephanie Bramble, owner/designer of Dutchman’s Designs, in the design of the suites, she made sure that each suite would feel like it belongs to the guest. As such, she veered away from elements that would make the suites traditional, neutral and commercial.

Guests may also bring a piece of Hotel Simone home with them, since all Dutchman’s Designs’ furniture pieces in the hotel can be purchased.

The property also has a rooftop dip pool and a fitness center.

Charlestowne Hotels will oversee full-service management operations of Hotel Simone.
