Meliá opens beachfront resort in Vietnam

Spain-based Meliá Hotels International opened its sixth hotel in Vietnam this month, its fourth in the country under the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand.

Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort offers 152 ocean-view rooms and suites. Visitors also may stay in one of the 61 deluxe villas, each with its own private infinity pool. Also, guests who stay on THE LEVEL floors will receive additional access to a private lounge, upgraded in-room amenities and a private pool.

The new resort offers several dining venues. On the ground floor, SASA serves South Asian street food. The beachfront Breeza Beach Club features live music, DJ sets, themed parties, dance shows and a swim-up pool bar. Muối, Vietnamese for ‘salt,’ specializes in local cuisine and provides a fine-dining option. Elyxr offers a menu of coffee, juices, smoothies and lighter fare.

Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort also features the brand’s wellness offering YHI Spa, with aqua aerobics, yoga classes and health-focused culinary classes available for guests. The hotel also offers three swimming pools, a fitness center and a kid’s club.

Meliá Hotels International currently has another seven properties in the pipeline for Vietnam. In the wider Asia-Pacific region, the company has 22 locations in operation, with another 24 expected by 2022.
