My Place Hotels of America expanded the brand’s footprint in the Beehive State with the opening of its newest location in St. George, Utah, the 40th My Place hotel overall and the company's third in Utah.

My Place Hotel-St. George, Utah offers access to nearby dining and retail options. As the gateway to Zion National Park, St. George draws a diverse range of travelers from around the world.

My Place Hotel-St. George, UT is independently owned by Hotel Barons STG. As the fourth My Place Hotel developed by Principal Engineer Craig Larsen, My Place will address a niche of travelers who require the comforts of home on the road at an affordable price. Such a need in St. George was recognized by Larsen, a Utah native who has long vacationed with his family in the Southern Utah destination.

“We are thrilled to be part of this great community,“ Larsen said in a statement. “As we continue our partnership with My Place, we have found that delivering a special kind of hospitality that makes guests feel at home the moment they walk through the door is invaluable. Having a family of our own, we have personally experienced the need for a quality night sleep, with home-like amenities, all at a fair price. We’re thrilled to introduce area travelers to the level of comfort, quality, and value that My Place has standardized.”

Plans are underway for two additional My Place locations in Utah, a fourth in nearby Hurricane and a fifth in Moab. While the St. George location is a four-hour drive from its open Utah counterparts in Salt Lake City, the closest My Place Hotel opened 90 miles away in Las Vegas last month.

Terry Kline, My Place EVP of franchise development, said that as My Place’s development map continues to fill in, developers like Larsen and the Hotel Barons team will continue to fuel My Place’s expansion.

“We are honored to have trailblazers like Craig and his team at Hotel Barons on board as we collectively expand the My Place brand from coast to coast.” Kline said in a statement. “Their unwavering commitment to delivering quality accommodations and friendly service has resulted in tremendous contributions to My Place’s growth.”

Each extended stay guest room at the My Place Hotel-St. George, Utah includes a My Kitchen, complete with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave and a full refrigerator. The property is pet friendly and will also include on-site laundry facilities, a grilling pavilion, an outdoor pool, complimentary high-speed Internet service and a 24-hour My Store, located in the hotel lobby and stocked with an array of supplies for the guests’ convenience.
