Embassy Suites by Hilton, a global brand of upscale, all-suites hotels from Hilton Worldwide, opened the Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center. Located in McAllen, Texas, near the city's the convention center for which it is named, the contemporary property offers the largest, full-service event space for the City of Palms.
Three miles from McAllen Miller International Airport, and in close proximity to manufacturing facilities in nearby Mexico, Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center is a convenient respite for business travelers as well as tourists visiting the numerous Rio Grande Valley attractions. The hotel’s contemporary design represents aspects of local culture, and several large art pieces capture the area’s tropical environment. Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center is owned and managed by Perspective Hospitality.

Each of the 150 two-room suites and studio suites is accentuated with modern décor. The living room has a sofa sleeper, work space and 55-inch HDTV, plus a kitchenette with microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and wet bar featuring gourmet coffee and teas from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The private bedroom has a king or two queen beds and an additional 55-inch HDTV. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in all suites, as well as in the hotel’s public areas.
A particular highlight is the hotel’s 12,000 square feet of attractive event space, ideal for conferences, weddings or holiday parties. The main ballroom may accommodate as many as 600 guests, and can also be divided into five smaller spaces.
Guests at Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen Convention Center may enjoy the brand’s signature amenities, including its free made-to-order breakfast and two-hour complimentary evening reception with snacks and beverages. Also available is a Starbucks coffee bar. Brickstone Grill offers contemporary American cuisine, a la carte, for lunch or dinner and cocktails. Menu mainstays include grilled meats and fish, oven baked pizza, rotisserie chicken and more. Those preferring to dine in-suite may select room service or pick up snacks and sundries in the hotel’s 24-hour convenience store.
The hotel also has an onsite fitness center with Precor equipment, an outdoor heated pool, a hot tub and outdoor seating.

It offers the Meetings Simplified by Embassy Suites by Hilton package from $80 per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting Wi-Fi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, continental breakfast, a morning and afternoon snack break, lunch and all-day non-alcoholic beverage service. Also available for business travelers is a 24-hour business center.
