New Homewood Suites opens in Schenectady, N.Y.

A new Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady opened in upstate New York. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady consists of 106 new suites, and the property is an upscale, all-suite, riverfront hotel with views of the Mohawk River.

Developed and managed by Oakfield Hospitality and owned by Waters Edge Lodging, Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom accommodations, including fully-equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Guests have access to a complimentary daily hot breakfast, evening social Monday-Thursday, wi-fi and a grocery shopping service. Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady also provides views of the Mohawk river and a fitness center. The property also offers meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 60 people for corporate and social events.

Located at 2A Freemans Bridge Road, Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady offers guests access to General Electric, Union College, Via Aquarium, downtown Schenectady, Proctors Theatre and Stockade Historic District, New York State’s oldest historic district. Guests can also explore Howe Caverns, Lake George and Saratoga Race Track within an hours’ drive from the hotel.
