New Homewood Suites opens in Schenectady, N.Y.

A new Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady opened in upstate New York. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady consists of 106 new suites, and the property is an upscale, all-suite, riverfront hotel with views of the Mohawk River.

“Schenectady County is not only a fantastic place to live, but also the ideal place for visitors as we have a diverse mix of entertainment, dining, historic attractions and accommodations that will surely impress,” Mounssif Slaoui, GM of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady, said in a statement. “Travelers seeking a spacious hotel either for an extended period or short trip can look no further than our accommodating, value-driven property.”

Developed and managed by Oakfield Hospitality and owned by Waters Edge Lodging, Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom accommodations, including fully-equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Guests have access to a complimentary daily hot breakfast, evening social Monday-Thursday, wi-fi and a grocery shopping service. Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady also provides views of the Mohawk river and a fitness center. The property also offers meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 60 people for corporate and social events.
