The Radisson Hotel Zurich Airport has opened following a reconstruction and rebranding. The hotel is the second Radisson-branded property to open in Europe and the first in the region.

The rebranding of the former Park Inn by Radisson Zürich Airport in Rümlang is part of a strategy to boost the Radisson Hotel Group's full-service, upscale portfolio in the EMEA region. "The transformation around the Zürich Airport is significant and the rebranding of the hotel represents a key step for the further development of the property in line with the Radisson Hotel Group brand strategy," said Yilmaz Yildirimlar, area SVP for Central and Southern Europe, where the group has invested more than €60 million to drive this plan by 2022.

Following revamps to hotels in Frankfurt and Cologne, Radisson Blu hotels in Basel and Milan and the Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel, Wiesbaden also are undergoing renovation and redesign.
