Regent to open four Asian hotels in two years

Regent Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its footprint in four Asian cities in the coming years. Three new luxury hotels are slated to open in China over the next two years, and one is scheduled for Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Regent Chongqing – Chongqing, China
Scheduled to open in early October 2016, Regent Chongqing will be in the economic center of Southwest China, Chongqing. The hotel will have 181 rooms and 21 suites, a business center, as well as a grand ballroom and five function/meeting spaces.

Regent Place Xi'an – Xi’an, China
Regent Place Xian will debut in 2017 in Xi’an, China, one of the country’s oldest cities.  Xi’an’s culture and heritage will play an influential role in the design of the upscale hotel and its 141 rooms and 15 suites.

Regent Place Harbin – Harbin, China
Launching in 2017, Regent Harbin will have 250 rooms and 34 suites in the commercial, business and exhibition area of Harbin, one of northeast China’s major cities.

Regent Jakarta – Jakarta, Indonesia 
In collaboration with KG Global Development, Regent is set to launch the Regent Jakarta, a luxury hotel and residential project set to open in early 2018. The new mixed-use property will have 54 rooms and 72 suites. The structure will also house 87 Regent residences. Three- to four- bedroom units will occupy 37 floors.
