Riverhouse on the Deschutes opens in Bend, Ore.

Vesta Hospitality, a hotel acquisition, development and management company, opened the Riverhouse on the Deschutes, a full-service hotel and 36,000-square foot convention center located in Bend, Ore. Rick Takach, Vesta's president and CEO, made the announcement. The official grand opening ceremony of Riverhouse on the Deschutes will take place on June 1.

Overlooking the Deschutes river, Riverhouse was originally established in 1974 and recently completed a $10-million-plus renovation. The re-imagined hotel now has a new name, as well as fully-renovated accommodations, a new on-site restaurant and updated convention center capabilities.

The 221-room hotel has fully redesigned guestrooms, suites and public spaces. Centrally located in the heart of the hotel is Currents, an original restaurant offering Pacific Northwest cuisine with a local, seasonal focus. Riverhouse's multi-functional convention center is the largest in Central Oregon, and its meeting facilitates have state-of-the-art audiovisual technologies as well as private event services.
