Southeastern Development opens new Residence Inn in Orlando

Southeastern Development, a full-service real estate development firm based in Augusta, Ga., opened the new 195-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Orlando. This waterfront site, located near the main gates of Universal Orlando Resort, provides guests the opportunity to stay in a Marriott Residence Inn facility with immediate access to one of Florida’s foremost recreational venues.

“We could not be more excited to be able to open a Residence Inn by Marriott adjacent to Universal Orlando Resort under the direction of a world-class management team,” Victor Mills, CEO of Southeastern Development, said in a statement.

Located at 5616 Major Boulevard, the all-suite Residence Inn will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Southeastern Development and managed by LBA Hospitality, a full-scale hotel management, development and consulting firm based in Dothan, Ala.

As a Universal Partner Hotel, guests at the property can plan their itinerary, purchase theme park tickets and pick up online tickets orders from our convenient lobby Universal Partner Hotel Vacation Planning Center. Guests staying at a Universal Partner Hotel also receive complimentary scheduled transportation to Universal Orlando theme parks, discounts on merchandise at select theme park locations and savings on food and non-alcoholic beverages at select Universal CityWalk and theme park locations.

The Residence Inn Near Universal Orlando is designed as all-suite hotels that offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. The property also offers a free hot breakfast every day, public spaces to relax or collaborate, a grocery delivery service, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour onsite food-and-beverage market, dry-cleaning services and onsite guest laundry room. The hotel also provides guests with a meeting room, an outdoor swimming pool, a putting green and a fitness center.
