Marriott International opened the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Gainesville, Va. The 110-suite hotel, located at 7921 Gateway Promenade Place, will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by IMG Hotels of Woodbridge, Va.
The SpringHill Suites Gainesville Haymarket is located 22 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport and offers guests convenient access to the Promenade Virginia Gateway Shopping Center, the Jiffy Lube Live Amphitheater, Manassas National Battlefield Park and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.

Designed for both business and leisure travelers, the new hotel offers a extra space with suites larger than a typical hotel rooms. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces provide guests with flexibility and functionality. The hotel offers comfortable beds, soft linens and plush pillows. Each suite also includes the SpringHill Suites’ custom, three-in-one West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed. The designated work space offers a desk space.
The hotel’s lobby is designed for casual meetings or socializing. Local craft beer and premium wines are available through the hotel’s full-service bar and bistro or the 24/7 Market, and an outdoor patio area with a fire pit is also available. The property also has two meeting rooms with more than 1,695 square feet of meeting space to accommodate meetings and functions of up to 113 people, and catering for events if needed.
