Warwick Hotels makes Dubai debut

Warwick International Hotels opened its first Hotel in Dubai last week. The Warwick Hotel Dubai is owned by Damas Real Estate, with whom WIH entered into a Management Agreement last year.

Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, (close to the Dubai Financial Center) the Warwick Hotel Dubai has 357 rooms and suites across 47 floors as well as four dining options and an Executive Lounge. World on 44th is the signature restaurant, with 360-degree views of the city from the 44th floor and a menu of South American and Mediterranean flavors with a modern twist. Zenses, the Asian restaurant and evening Lounge located on the 46th floor, will serve Pan Asian cuisine, while the rooftop Zephyr and Pool Bar offers a more casual atmosphere.

The opening of the Hotel marks a major step in the development of WIH, after having established its presence in the Middle East in 2012. Its portfolio of hotels now includes the Warwick Il Palazzo Hotel & Suites and the Winter Valley Warwick Resort & Spa Dead Sea in Jordan, the Warwick Stone 55, Warwick Pangéa Beach Resort & Spa and the Warwick Palm Beach in Lebanon. This year, WIH continues expanding in the Middle East with the Babylon Warwick Hotel in Irak and one in Qatar, the Warwick Doha Hotel.

Warwick International's investment strategy follows three elements: invest in wholly owned hotels in strategic locations, engage with affiliate hotels and manage hotels for owners who take a long-term view in the hotel industry. As of today, WIH is present on four continents and has a portfolio of 59 hotels with more than 8500 rooms in the four- and five-star category.
