Aimbridge Hospitality was chosen as the new hotel management company for the Pearl South Padre Island Resort, a full-service resort on the Texas coast.
Pearl South Padre is a full-service oceanfront resort with 200 ocean-view guestrooms, as well as 52 one and two-bedroom condominiums ranging in size from 973-1,243 square feet and complete with full kitchens.
“We are excited that Aimbridge Hospitality has assumed management of this outstanding full-service resort and look forward to making lasting memories for our guests and enhancing the performance of the property for ownership,” Dave Johnson, CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, said in a statement.
Mark Langdale, representing ownership of Pearl South Padre, selected Aimbridge Hospitality because it is a company that understands both the needs of ownership and the guest experience.
“We selected Aimbridge because of their knowledge and experience in the resort business as well as their scale which offers access to state of the industry practices, talented employees and numerous economies of scale,” Langdale said in a statement. “We are confident in Aimbridge’s ability to improve the resort’s position as the best beach experience in Texas and drive performance in a variety of creative ways.”
Amenities include over 8,500 square feet of meeting space, a resort-style pool with swim-up bar, Beachside Bar and Grille with indoor and alfresco dining, the poolside Palapa Bar and Grille, large beach-oriented retail, business center, Sapphire Spa and valet parking. The resort is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, bars, retail and tourist attractions, including Schlitterbahn Waterpark.
