Bartell Hotels acquires San Diego Hilton for $37.7M

San Diego-based Bartell Hotels acquired the San Diego Hilton Airport/Harbor Island for $37.7 million.

The 211-room hotel was purchased from New York-based real estate investment firm Square Mile Management. The hotel was last renovated in the early 2000s after it joined the Hilton Worldwide brand, and Bartell has $5 million in upgrades planned for the property's future.

The nine-story building has nearly 9,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, and is now the eigth hotel owned by Bartell.
