The Baymont Inn & Suites Odessa, Texas, opens

Baymont Inn & Suites, part of Wyndham Hotel Group and parent company Wyndham Worldwide, opened its 350th hotel, a new construction, 71–room property in Odessa, Texas.

The Baymont Inn & Suites Odessa is the most recent of several new construction prototypical Baymont Inn & Suites properties that have opened in the last 12 months, including new hotels in Erie, Pennsylvania; San Angelo, Texas; Bellevue, Iowa; and Rapid City, South Dakota.

The brand, which consisted of 115 hotels when it joined the Hotel Group’s portfolio in 2006, has more than tripled in system size thanks to consistent growth into new domestic markets.
