
Benchmark Hospitality International, a U.S.-based hospitality management company, has promoted Greg Champion to president & COO.
Alex Cabañas, chief executive officer for Benchmark, made the announcement. “Bringing Greg on board as a senior executive for Benchmark Hospitality is one of the most important decisions our company has made in its 35-year history,” Cabañas said in a statement. “Since he came to us, our growth trajectory and profitability has increased exponentially under his leadership.”
With 25 years in the industry, Champion previously held the title of chief operating officer for Benchmark Hospitality International. He came to the company in 2009 after serving in senior leadership positions for leading private hotel management companies.
Champion attended Washington State University. He is a member of Skål International, the only global association that brings together all sectors of the professional Travel and Tourism industry, and of the international gastronomic organization, the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
