The Bricton Group to manage Lincolnshire Marriott

The Bricton Group announced that the firm is the new management company for the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort and Theatre. The 175-acre resort has 389 guestrooms, 40,000 square feet of meeting space and outdoor venues, an 18-hole championship golf course and the Marriott Theatre.

Part of the new management team at the hotel includes GM Eric Bates, who has worked for The Bricton Group for eight years and Marriott for 15. Bates was most recently positioned at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa.

Terry James, who has been associated with the Marriott Theatre for more than 25 years, will continue as executive producer.

The Bricton Group is planning a $22-million renovation for the hotel in late 2016 or early 2017. The renovation will include all parts of the resort including upgrades to the exterior of the building, new signage, the King’s Wharf restaurant and reinvented public spaces including the lobby and rooms. The Gettys Group will provide interior design, branding, procurement and program management expertise for the renovation of the resort.

Investors in the transaction include Realty Financial Partners from Boston and other private equity funds.
