Canopy by Hilton announces Baltimore project

Canopy by Hilton and Beatty Development Group announced plans to develop Canopy Baltimore, Harbor Point.

Canopy Baltimore, Harbor Point will have a first floor waterfront lobby and sit on the top four floors of the 12-story Wills Street Wharf office building. The 156-room hotel will also have a restaurant with an outdoor terrace offering views of the Inner Harbor.

Beatty, president of Beatty Development Group. “The location is truly second to none. Harbor Point will be a prime business and leisure destination, and we are thrilled to bring Canopy by Hilton to Baltimore.”

Wills Street Wharf is the fourth building in the growing Harbor Point development, which will include 225,000 square feet of office space, first-floor retail space and the 96,000-square-foot hotel. Beatty expects to begin development on Wills Street Wharf in the second quarter of 2016 with an approximate 18-month delivery schedule.
