Carlson to open the Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa in May

The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group signed an agreement with Rockwood Hotels & Resorts for Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa, to open in May this year.

TTG Asia reported that the 240-room hotel will be located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake in Ambamata, close to the city center and less than an hour’s drive from the airport. The hotel will offer an outdoor swimming pool, a lawn tennis court, a spa, a fitness center and four F&B options – an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, lobby bar and lounge and poolside bar. Guests will also have access to 1,782 square feet of meeting space and a pillar-less ballroom that can accommodate up to 450 people.

Recently, the Carlson Rezidor Hotel group announced plans to open 200 hotels in India by 2020, and also plans on introducing its new Radisson Red and Quorvus Collection brands to the county soon. These new additions represent a push by Radisson to occupy all markets, with the company looking to Tier II and capital cities for new locations.
