Cathy Kuzski joins NewcrestImage as president of the management division

Cathy Kuzski joined NewcrestImage as president of the management division, with responsibility for operating the company’s growing portfolio of properties. She culminated a 27-year career with Marriott International, serving most recently as area director for select service and extended stay lodging in Texas.  

Currently, NewcrestImage owns and operates 25 hotels with an asset value of more than $311 million, including properties under development that will open during 2014.  oom revenues are expected to reach $50 million by the end of this year.

NewcrestImage has been active during the past year, including the start of a $10 million renovation of the historic Cotton Exchange Hotel in New Orleans which later this year will become one of the country’s first AC Hotels by Marriott.

In December, the company opened the first dual-branded hotel in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex -- a 181-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 120-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott -- which is located near DFW Airport.
