Cobblestone Hotels opens new hotel in Ambridge, Pa.

Cobblestone Hotels along with the community of Ambridge, Pa., opened a Cobblestone Inn and Suites.

“We opened our first hotel in Pennsylvania less than a year ago” said Brian Wogernese, president and CEO of Cobblestone Hotels. “Since then we have had a large interest in our brand, the upper-midscale lodging that we offer small communities and the services we provide. Communities across this great state have embraced us and we are very grateful.”

Cobblestone Hotels currently has four hotels in the building stages in Pennsylvania and four more in any given stage of the development process in the state.

The Cobblestone Inn and Suites has 31 guestrooms, including whirlpool suites, with amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators, coffee service, free high speed internet and flat panel televisions in each room. The Cobblestone Inn and Suites will also have an on-site beer and wine bar, meeting room, exercise equipment, guest laundry facility and convenience store. A complimentary hot breakfast bar and weekday newspaper will be available daily to guests.

The furloughs will affect those at its domestic owned properties as well as its corporate staff.
