Cobblestone Hotels opened a new property in Pulaski, Wis.

“Wisconsin is where we began and we are very excited to have another hotel open in this great state,” said Brian Wogernese, president and CEO of Cobblestone Hotels. “The community of Pulaski has wanted a high quality, upper mid-scale hotel for years and we were happy to help them accomplish that goal.” Cobblestone Hotels currently has five additional hotels in the development stages in Wisconsin and at least fifty in development across the United States of America.

The hotel has 35 guestrooms, including extended-stay suites, with amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators, coffee service, free high-speed Internet and flat-panel televisions in each room.

The Cobblestone Hotel and Suites will also have an on-site beer and wine bar, meeting space, indoor pool, exercise equipment, guest laundry facility and convenience store. A complimentary hot breakfast bar and weekday newspaper will be available daily to guests of the hotel.

The furloughs will affect those at its domestic owned properties as well as its corporate staff.

The company is reducing its corporate workforce 40 percent to approximately 100 full-time-equivalent employees.
