Dallas Anatole begins construction on $15M water park

The Hilton Anatole in Dallas will begin construction this month on a $15 million resort pool and water park.

Plans for the three-acre facility near the hotel’s sculpture garden include three parts: a leisure pool, a family and children’s area with a beach-entry pool and two 30-foot slides, as well as a lazy river. The leisure pool area will be open year round, while the other two sections will be available between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The space will also include cabanas, walking paths and green space, and guests can enjoy a drink or meal at the planned outdoor restaurant and bar or 23-seat swim up bar. In conjunction with the project, the Anatole is also building two new event lawns, each accommodating up to 200 people, for outdoor events.

Roughly 150 seasonal workers will be hired to staff the amenities, which are slated to be open in time for Memorial Day 2016.
