Davidson Hotels & Resorts, a hospitality management company with nearly 50 hotels, appointed Pete Sams chief operating officer. The position gives Sams oversight of human resources, sales, revenue management, integrated marketing, transitions and operations strategy across all branded assets, Pivot Hotels & Resorts and Davidson Restaurant Group verticals.
Sams brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as EVP of full-service operations at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw the company’s operational strategy for more than 100 hotels, resorts and conference centers throughout North America. Before that, he worked as a regional VP at White Lodging. Sams began his career at Omni Hotels, where he spent 20 years and served multiple stints as general manager.
