Fairfield Inn in Buford, Ga., holds grand opening

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities held a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the 96-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel in Buford, Ga. Lauren Cato serves as GM of the hotel, and Malinda Foster is director of sales.

Hotel Equities has an ownership position in the hotel and helped direct the property’s multimillion-dollar conversion/renovation to the latest generation of Marriott’s Fairfield Inn & Suites brand.

Hotel Equities is also an investor in the nearby Courtyard by Marriott Buford.

Located at the Mall of Georgia and 40 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the hotel offers guests access to Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Braves, and Lake Lanier. It is the first Fairfield Inn & Suites in the area to have the brand’s new design and décor. Additional hotel amenities include an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, a conference room, valet laundry service and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services.
