First-ever Fairfield Inn & Suites opens in Kanata, Ontario

A Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott opened in Kanata, Ontario. The 98-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Kanata will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Silver Hotel Group of Mississauga, Ontario.

The hotel is the first Marriott hotel in Kanata, and provides guests with access to corporate headquarters, dining, shopping and sporting facilities. Located 25 minutes from Ottawa International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa, hotel guests are also close to local attractions including Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal and ByWard Market.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites' open lobby welcomes guests with a color palette of greens, blues and oranges. Rooms and suites offer separate living, working and sleeping areas. Plush mattresses, televisions, microwaves and mini-fridges enhance the guest experience. Included is an ergonomic chair and entertainment area with a second television.

A complimentary hot breakfast is available each morning in the lobby area. Other hotel amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness facility, guest laundry and valet laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services. The hotel also offers 1,480 square feet of event space to accommodate functions of up to 40 people.
