Focus Hotels to manage the Tewkesbury Park Hotel, Gloucestershire

UK-based Focus Hotels, took over the management of the four-star Tewkesbury Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club, Gloucestershire. Appointed on a long term management contract, which went into effect April 28, 2014, Focus Hotels will oversee a period of long term investment by the hotel’s new local owners, the McIntosh family.

Plans are being put in place to undertake refurbishment to all areas of the existing hotel and leisure facilities, which includes bringing the bedrooms in the original English Heritage-listed main house back into use. 

The four-star Tewkesbury Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club is situated on the historic site of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury and has panoramic views of Tewkesbury Abbey and the Cotswold and Malvern Hills. The hotel currently has 82 bedrooms, all en suite and with complimentary Wi-Fi; a choice of two restaurants serving locally sourced food; conference, banqueting and wedding facilities for up to 200 guests; and on-site parking.
