Former Hotel Syracuse to join Marriott Hotels

Hotel Syracuse owner Ed Riley announced the property will now become part of Marriott International's Marriott Hotels brand. Marriott will work with the Hotel Syracuse Restoration team and the hotel's operator, Crescent Resorts & Hotels, as part of an ongoing restoration.

The hotel will be rebranded as Marriott Downtown Syracuse. The property will integrate the landmark’s historical components with modern amenities. In addition to updated guestrooms and high-tech meeting spaces, the hotel will offer restaurants, shops and other social spaces.

Marriott Downtown Syracuse will continue to provide updates to the community throughout the project, and has already started to receive reservations for events and weddings following their opening slated for Spring 2016.
