G6 Hospitality to begin veteran hiring initiative

G6 Hospitality announced a new company-wide initiative to support the hiring of U.S. military veterans and their spouses. The mission of the new program, Operation Next Step, is to better integrate veterans into the G6 Hospitality workforce, with an immediate goal of hiring up to 250 veterans across the enterprise in 2015.

Operation Next Step focuses on creating a dedicated organizational infrastructure that supports veterans, including effective hiring tools and career tracking platforms for men and women who have completed military service. Within the next few months, the program will launch several new recruiting tools and employee resources.

“We recognize the unique skills and character traits that veterans can bring into our organization, and we welcome their understanding of quality service, experience building strong teams, and passion for service,” said Jim Amorosia, president and CEO of G6 Hospitality.
