Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza, Spain, to open May 18

Hard Rock is set to open a new Ibiza hotel property May 18, 2014. The complex in the Balearic Islands will be the first Hard Rock Hotel in Europe, and will be the destination's largest five-star hotel.

Located on the Playa d'en Bossa, the hotel will have 493 rooms.

Suites of up to 541 square feet, including some with outdoor Jacuzzi pools on their 114-square-foot patios, will be available. VIP services, including access to some of Ibiza's exclusive clubs and restaurants, will also be offered.

There are currently 19 other Hard Rock Hotels worldwide, most of which are located in the US. The hotel group also has outposts in Mexico and in several Asian countries including Indonesia (Bali) and Thailand (Pattaya).
