HayMax Capital buys the Tamarack Lodge in Ketchum, Idaho

A hotel and real estate company in Aspen, Colo., bought the Tamarack Lodge in Ketchum, Idaho.

The 26-room Tamarack Lodge is HayMax Capital's first acquisition in Ketchum. The hotel was purchased for $4.1 million.

The hotel has a heated pool, outdoor spa tub and courtyard, and offers complimentary snowshoes and bikes for guests. The hotel was built in 1965. The hotel staff will be retained during the ownership transition, and renovations are being considered.
