Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown opens

Hilton Worldwide opened the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown. Once home to Phoenix’s historic Professional Building, the hotel is owned by and managed by Minneapolis-based CSM Corporation.

Constructed in 1931, the Phoenix landmark was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1993. Now completely renovated and restored, the hotel has a two-story, 24-foot-tall lobby with original marble floors, art deco Corinthian capitals, bronze elevator doors and original wrought iron details.
