Hilton Worldwide opens its first Munich Airport hotel

Hilton Worldwide opened its first property at Munich airport.

The 389-room Hilton Munich Airport, previously Kempinski Munich Airport Hotel, will now undergo an extension with another 160 rooms to be added by 2017.

The hotel offers meetings and conference spaces, with business facilities spread over 20 meeting rooms, food and beverage options and a spa area with a 55-foot swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, fitness area, seven treatment rooms and a pool bar.

The five-story building, which has a full height glass atrium, is the only hotel with direct access to the terminal building.
