Home2 Suites opens hotel in Amarillo, Texas

Home2 Suites by Hilton opened a new hotel in Amarillo, Texas. The new property, owned by Ram Hotels, will offer 92 suites to the Amarillo market. 

“The newest Home2 property in Amarillo continues our expansion in the state of Texas this year, as our sixth brand property to open in the state alone,” said Bill Duncan, global head of Homewood and Home2 Suites by Hilton. “We are pleased to share our new approach to the extended-stay segment to those travelers visiting the Texas Panhandle.”

The new hotel is located in the medical center community and offers guests access to the United Artists IMAX Theatre, located next door. It is also minutes from Westgate Mall and various area restaurants. Home2 Suites Amarillo is the first of several planned hotel openings in the area within the next two years, according to the Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council.

Home2 Suites Amarillo offers guests amenities such as the Oasis lobby, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and complimentary continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning options such as hot artisan breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt and more. The hotel also has a heated indoor saline pool for guests’ use and an outside running path. All Home2 Suites properties are also pet-friendly.
